Subject: What is this ideal temperature for the chill roller on the laminator. Are there methods to reduce adhesive bleed particularly when when slitting/sheeting

Ideal roll temperature will depend on the heat transfer properties of the roll based on its design. If this is a new problem on an old machine you might check to insure you have adequate coolant flow and perhaps clean the roll internally or determine if it needs to be replaced.

I would also look at your adhesive to make sure it is properly formulated as during sheeting and slitting it should be at room temperature and therefore not improvable by improved cooling
